Do you accept insurance?
Venture Wellness providers do not participate in any insurance plans. We are considered out of network.
Patients are responsible for payment in full at the times of service. It is the patient’s responsibility to check with his/her insurer to determine if they have any out of network benefits.
We do accept HSA and FSA and can provide a Superbill for insurance reimbursement upon request. However we are unable to file these claims on your behalf.
Unfortunately insurance companies have strict criteria on how they cover hormone therapy and other wellness services.
We will work with your insurance to file a PA for certain medications when medically appropriate.
If you would like to use insurance for labs, please provide insurance information. Otherwise you may leave it blank. Please review your insurance coverage. We have found that depending on health plan, our negotiated self pay rates are more affordable than private insurance plans, especially high deductible plans. While we do code the lab order to allow for maximum chance of coverage, you are responsible for any balance not covered by private health plans. Our initial labs are very comprehensive and range from $150-$200 self pay Follow up labs range from $30-$100 depending on service.
We focus our time on negotiating rates with with contracted labs and compounding pharmacies to keep our fees affordable! Many times the compounded medication is cheaper than a brand name alternative at a retail pharmacy. For example Semaglutide (Brand Name Ozempic) is often marked up to unaffordable prices through commercial retail pharmacies.
Compounding pharmacies are FDA regulated and are able to tailor medications directly to patient needs.
Do you offer hormone replacement for women?
We are happy to offer hormone optimization for women.

Does booking the men's wellness consultation qualify me for treatment?
Our providers will only treat patients after an in depth medical evaluation paired with testing confirms there is a need for treatment.
Is hormone therapy safe?
Studies show time and time again that hormone therapy is safe if done properly. This is why providers at Venture Wellness carefully monitor the patient and tailor an individualized program to include follow up lab work and visits. We partner with trusted compounding pharmacies to ensure quality ingredients and prescribe accurate doses for each individual patient.
How much will this cost me?
-
The cost of treatment varies based on the person’s needs and the type of treatment deemed necessary by our physicians. The first consultation is a flat rate of and includes your initial consultation, medical evaluation, and lab work.
Once a plan of care is determined for your condition, we offer a variety of all inclusive packages for such as injectable testosterone starting as low as $130 a month. Our packages are all inclusive with medication, injection supplies, and follow up appointments to give you the the best value with great affordability.
When adding additional services or medications, the cost can vary depending on the individual treatment plan and length of treatment. You will receive a quote for services prior to starting treatment.
How quickly after starting treatment will I see results?
The time it takes for men to see noticeable results varies according to their pre-existing T levels and how quickly their body metabolizes the medication.
Most patient’s begin to see results in 2-3 weeks after starting treatment. Some of the first benefits reported by TRT patients are increased energy, focus, and better memory.
The process is not instant and as the body needs to builds up enough supplemental testosterone to show results. When first starting treatment, your T levels will be checked every 3 months or with each dosage adjustment, whichever comes first. For many men it may take up to 6 months to achieve the full benefit of TRT.
Do you offer testosterone creams or pellets ?
Hormone injections are the most effective method of administration for this type of therapy because it allows for more precise dosage control and less sporadic hormonal absorption.
We understand that some patients are uncomfortable with the idea of injections. Men who only require a low dose hormone regimen may be good candidates for the creams or gels, these are prescribed only after careful consideration of the patient’s individual needs.
How does Tirzepatide work?
GIP and GLP-1 are satiety hormones naturally produced by the intestine. They work together to control blood sugar, gastric emptying, acid secretion, appetite, and satiety. Tirzepatide (Brand names Mounjaro and Zepbound) is a peptide that mimics these hormones to increase their levels in your body.
This also affects areas of the brain (such as the hypothalamus) that control appetite and influence eating decisions.
By directly targeting these hormones, people can achieve significant weight loss even after failing other available diets and therapies.
This is currently the most effective weight loss medication available.
How much weight can I expect to lose?
The 17-month study found up to a 20% loss of body weight with Tirzepatide.
However, it’s important to note that outcomes can differ based on several factors. These include your initial weight, adherence to the treatment plan, dietary choices, level of physical activity, and commitment to adopting new lifestyle habits.
Weight loss results with Tirzepatide can vary among individuals. Typically, when combined with our comprehensive weight management program, users may experience an average weight loss of 7-10 pounds per month.

-
Have tried other weight loss methods
-
Are at risk for medical problems due to their weight
-

How do I get the medication?
Unfortunately, many insurance drug benefits do not cover these medications for weight loss. If you have a type II diabetes diagnosis, your insurance plan may cover Mounjaro through a prior authorization. Zepbound was just recently approved for weight loss and some insurance plans may add it to their coverage plan starting Jan 1.
For individuals whose insurance plan does not cover this medication, there are savings cards that can be used for short term therapy. You can find more information here: https://www.zepbound.lilly.com/
We are happy to submit prior authorizations for patients who qualify for therapy and have coverage.
We also offer compounded Tirzepatide as a self-pay option. Our partnerships with FDA regulated compounding pharmacies allow us to provide greater access to these life changing medications.
How does Semaglutide work?
Semaglutide imitates the glucagon-like peptide-1 also known as GLP-1 hormone, a chemical that affects the parts of the brain that control hunger and food intake.
Brand name Ozempic is used for diabetes, and Wegovy is used for weight loss. The medication is the same: Semaglutide
Semaglutide raises the body’s levels of glucagon-like peptide. It is administered subcutaneously once per week during the patient’s treatment. GLP-1 is a vital factor in controlling blood sugar and weight. It aids in appetite suppression through the brain and delays stomach emptying to heighten the feeling of fullness.
As soon as you inject a dosage of Semaglutide, it begins to work. However, it can take a few weeks or months before you start to lose weight or see a decrease in appetite.
Am I a good candidate for Semaglutide?
If you’re considering medical weight loss treatment, you may be an excellent candidate. The best candidates for our customized weight loss programs:
