Is Testosterone Replacement Therapy Right For Me?
Our goal is to optimize your testosterone level for your body. We will treat your symptoms with your overall health in mind.
If you are regularly experiencing some or all low-T symptoms, book your comprehensive exam and be tested for low testosterone.
In addition to testosterone replacement: Your provider will ask you questions about your symptoms, lifestyle, and medical history at your initial appointment and include evaluation of testosterone, thyroid, insulin resistance, and other important aspects of men’s health and wellness to evaluate and additional underlying causes of your symptoms.
You deserve to feel your best! Our TRT treatment plans starts as low as $150 a month. This includes your TRT medication, injection supplies if applicable, and all follow up appointments.
For your convenience, follow ups can be done virtually if preferred.
What sets us apart: Did you know that many large men’s health companies only check 4-5 lab values before starting patients on TRT? Many of these patients find themselves with inappropriate testosterone levels and many side effects that are then covered up by estrogen blockers or more medications. Our initial set of labs is a comprehensive panel that not only includes your testosterone levels but other precursor hormones to make sure we get you dialed in and provide the best care possible.
Testosterone levels can affect men’s sex drive, erections, mood, muscle mass and bone density. Testosterone is also needed for normal sperm production.
You may have low-T if you find yourself having the following problems:
-
Reduced motivation and energy
- You may find yourself reaching for the couch in the afternoons
- Feel unable to play with your kids or partake in activities which you used to enjoy
-
Depressed Mood/Anxiety
- You may feel more irritable or anxious
-
Decreased muscle mass and strength and more body fat
- You may find increase hip and belly fat and a harder time gaining muscle at the gym than in your younger years
-
Reduced libido or weaker erections
-
Low Iron (Anemia)
Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) can be an effective way to treat these symptoms and restore lower T levels to those of your younger years!
Whether TRT is right for you depends on a multiple factors including your age, overall health, and lifestyle habits. An in-depth medical history and examination including blood tests are collected to differentiate underlying disorders that could be causing your symptoms before starting testosterone replacement therapy for low-T.
What is Low T?
Testosterone is a a sex hormone that plays a major role in defining male development and characteristics. Testosterone levels are carefully controlled by the pituitary gland in the brain to regulate body processes. After puberty, testosterone affects men by regulating libido, bone mass, fat distribution, muscle mass and strength, and production of sperm and red blood cells. It is also been implicated in mood regulation and energy levels. Research shows that testosterone levels peak in the teen years and men start to experience a decline in their testosterone levels at the young age of 30.
Over the past several decades testosterone levels in men have over all decreased by ~25%. It is estimated that 5 million men in the U.S.A. or 1 in 4 men have hypogonadism. Researchers believe this is due to endocrine disruptors from plastics, pesticides and additional chemicals added to our environment, the poor American diet, and increased sedentary lifestyles.
A healthy testosterone level depends on your age, genetics, and lifestyle. As a man’s testosterone levels begin gradually dropping every year after 30, some men truly feel the negative side effects. This phenomenon is defined as late-onset hypogonadism or andropause.
Low testosterone affects many aspects of a man’s daily life. Symptoms can include a low libido, erectile dysfunction, mood changes, anxiety, and an imbalance between muscle mass and fat mass.

Our clinic focuses on replenishing testosterone, along with adjunctive therapies, to reduce these symptoms. The lab levels used by insurance companies and therefore most traditional medical clinics are not age adjusted. As a result many men have “normal” levels but are suffering from low-T. A 40 year old man with the same labs as an 80 year old should be just as able to access testosterone replacement treatment, even if their symptoms are different. The system is broken. Venture Wellness focuses on the patient, not just the numbers.
Schedule your consultation today so we can explore the best options for you to recapture the ideal hormone levels of your younger years.
Frequently Asked Questions
(Testosterone Replacement)
Does booking the men's wellness consultation qualify me for treatment?
Our providers will only treat patients after an in depth medical evaluation paired with testing confirms there is a need for treatment.
Is hormone therapy safe?
Studies show time and time again that hormone therapy is safe if done properly. This is why providers at Venture Wellness carefully monitor the patient and tailor an individualized program to include follow up lab work and visits. We partner with trusted pharmacies to ensure quality ingredients and prescribe dialed in doses using the most up to date evidence for each individual patient.
How much will this cost me?
-
The cost of treatment varies based on the person’s needs and the type of treatment deemed necessary by our provider. The first consultation is a flat rate of and includes your initial consultation, medical evaluation, and lab work.
After your initial consultation, if you are eligible and choose to move forward with TRT, we offer transparent and comprehensive packages billed monthly or quarterly. Our packages are all inclusive with medication, injection supplies, direct messaging with your provider, and follow up appointments to give you the the best value with great affordability available for TRT in Virginia.
When adding additional services or medications such as human growth hormone, semaglutide, or tirzepatide, the cost can vary depending on the individual treatment plan and length of treatment. You will receive a quote for services prior to starting treatment.
How quickly after starting treatment will I see results?
The time it takes for men to see noticeable results varies according to their pre-existing T levels and how quickly their body metabolizes the medication.
Most patient’s begin to see results in 2-3 weeks after starting treatment. Some of the first benefits reported by TRT patients are increased energy, focus, and better memory.
The process is not instant and as the body needs to builds up enough supplemental testosterone to show results. When first starting treatment, your T levels will be checked every 3 months or with each dosage adjustment, whichever comes first. For many men it may take up to 6 months to achieve the full benefit of TRT.
Do you offer testosterone creams or pellets ?
Hormone injections are the most effective method of administration for this type of therapy because it allows for more precise dosage control and less sporadic hormonal absorption.
We understand that some patients are uncomfortable with the idea of injections. Men who only require a low dose hormone regimen may be good candidates for the creams or gels, these are prescribed only after careful consideration of the patient’s individual needs.
Can I Naturally Increase my Testosterone Levels?
Yes. A healthy lifestyle, including a healthy diet, regular exercise (especially weight training), maintaining a healthy weight, and getting enough quality sleep will all help to increase testosterone levels. It’s also important to avoid unnecessary exposure to endocrine disruptors in plastics, foods, and personal care products. Some medications and substances such as marijuana, opiates, and alcohol cause lower testosterone
Although it is difficult to avoid all exposures, Testosterone replacement therapy can help you to start and maintain these healthy habits by making it easier to lose weight, increasing energy and motivation, and helping you sleep better.
Do I have to be on TRT for life if I start it?
No. Men stop testosterone for various reasons such as active duty military deployments, relocation, or financial changes.
If you stop testosterone, your body will start producing it on its own again, but your levels may not be as high as they were while on TRT. Many men simply feel better when their testosterone is at a higher level than what their body produces naturally. You can always restart therapy when the time is right again.
