How Does it Work?
As we age, increased levels of Dihydrotestoterone (DHT) can effectively put the dermal papilla/hair
follicles into a telogen, “sleeping” phase. If hair remains in a telogen phase long enough the follicle
cannot be reactivated and balding occurs. Additionally, thinning hair may be caused by a scalp damaged by a dry climate, nutrition, stress, certain drugs, chlorine, and/or environmental exposure. Over many years, the skin of the scalp produces less growth factors and becomes less efficient at repairing damage. Because of this, the condition of the scalp can eventually deteriorate to the point where it hardens (fibrosis) or hair
follicles become miniaturized. In the case of fibrosis, hair is unable to grow through the hardened
scalp. Miniaturization renders the hair follicles unable to perform their normal growth cycle. Both
conditions can lead to a cessation of hair production and the death of hair follicles.
Procell Therapies Hair Regrowth Serum (HRS) disrupts the occupation of receptors on the dermal papilla prone to DHT contamination, re-awakening dormant follicles to grow hair once again.
This procedure is an amazing treatment for patients with thinning or balding hair. We use a serum with cutting edge stem cell science with over 350 growth factors for optimal results. Applying this serum with micro-needling allows you to receive 300% more product penetration for maximal benefit. Microneedling along your skin also stimulates collagen and elastin production. Procedure Length
A numbing cream will be applied 10-15 minutes prior to your treatment. Then the stem cells are applied in sections as they are needled into the skin. Sessions can last anywhere from 30-60 minutes depending on the area of treatment.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
A minimum of 5 treatments is recommended for optimal results.
Hair regrowth is assessed on a bi-weekly basis.
Re-application of Procell treatment with stem cells should be administered no later than 14 days apart.

What is the Recovery?

There is no recovery time associated with the ProCell Microneedling. You may return to work and your daily activities immediately after the treatment.

After your treatment apply the stem cell serum every 10-15 minutes until there is no serum left. Micro channels in your skin will remain open for a few hours following the treatment, so the serum will continue to penetrate the skin to enhance the production of new collagen and elastin in your skin. Be sure to drink lots of water to keep hydrated and to help flush toxins out of your body. Do not apply any products to your hair. A gentle shampoo may be used at bed time, avoid using any heavy conditioners. For best results apply the hair growth serum daily.
