We’re so glad you’ve chosen us to partner with you on your journey to optimal health. Your first appointment is an important step, and we want to make sure you feel prepared and comfortable.

Helpful Tips! 

1. Keep an eye out for an email with intake forms. Your health history is key in learning more about you and making the most of your visit.
2. If your appointment requires labwork, at the end of the intake form will be a question on how you would like to have labs drawn.  There is a self pay option and an option to use insurance. We are not responsible for any charges from the lab  company for your labwork. We generally find that clients who have a robust employer plan without a high deductible can use their insurance for lab work without receiving any surprise bills.
   1. If you are not sure, we recommend using self pay. Each lab is itemized so you know how much you are paying for each lab with no surprises. You may use HSA and FSA funds.
   2. We are able to see your lab payment option before you submit your intake form. Try to get to this early so you can receive your lab order and have them drawn in time to have results at your visit.
3.  Attend your lab draw at Labcorp (Both self pay and insurance labs are drawn here). Generally labs take about 5-7 business days to result. Free testosterone levels can take up to 14 days.
4.  Hormone Replacement Patients: If we do not have the majority of your lab results back within 24 hours of your appointment time, we will reach out to reschedule. For a couple of  labs that take >7 days to result we do not need to reschedule.
5.  Attend your visit.
   1. Virtual patients will receive the telehealth link in your confirmation email and via text at your appointment time.
   2. If at any point you need to change your appointment date/time, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancel fee.
