Most of what brings people to a primary-care office can be handled here, by a provider who knows you, without a copay for included visits.
The exact list is in your membership agreement. This is the plain-language version.
Not a complete list. If you don’t see your concern here, ask us at your Meet & Greet.
Heart and lung conditions are managed alongside your specialists. Care for mild to moderate anxiety, depression, and ADHD means evaluation and medication management within primary-care scope; we refer out for therapy, formal testing, and complex psychiatric care. Concerns such as weight, menopause symptoms, or low energy can be evaluated here, and ongoing specialty treatment for those is separate from the membership.
Why a regular provider matters. About 115 million American adults have prediabetes, and 8 in 10 of them don’t know it. Most chronic conditions are quiet at first, which is why routine screening with someone who knows you is worth having. Source: CDC
*Pathology is billed by the lab. Supplies, devices, and medications used with a procedure may be billed separately, and we tell you the cost first. We remove stitches but don’t place them; a cut that may need stitches should be seen at urgent care.
Pathology and lab processing for screening tests are billed by the lab.
About labs. Ordering your labs, drawing blood here, and reviewing your results are part of the membership. The laboratory’s own charge for running tests is separate. We’ll share that price before ordering whenever possible.
Full-body imaging, advanced lab panels, and performance testing are not part of a Direct Primary Care physical. They are part of the Elite Wellness + Primary Care Plan, Venture’s executive health plan, which is by application only.
Included visits have no per-visit copay. Your membership agreement lists exactly what is included. If a concern is better handled by message, a visit, or a referral, we’ll tell you which.
Yes, from age 2, when an adult in the same household is also a member. Vaccines aren’t given here; we’ll tell you what’s due and keep school and camp forms current.

We coordinate the referral and review what comes back. The specialist or imaging center bills you or your insurance directly, which is one reason we encourage members to keep health insurance.
Your provider can evaluate these as part of your overall health and order routine testing. Ongoing hormone therapy and weight-loss medication programs are separate Venture programs, explained and priced before anything begins.
We care for patients from Midlothian, Richmond, Chesterfield County, Bon Air, Powhatan, and Chester, and across the greater Richmond area. Visits are in person at our Midlothian office, and by telehealth when it’s clinically appropriate.
